The latest actor to portray Batman in the Christopher Nolan reboot trilogy, Bale stars in the last Nolan Batman flick The Dark Knight Rises. After playing Batman in Batman Begins, Bale returned to appearing in independent films. He's most recently appeared in The Fighter. In 2000 he married Sandra "Sibi" Blazic, a former model, makeup artist and personal assistant to Winona Ryder. The couple have a daughter Emmeline who was born in 2005.
