After the show ended, Joseph Gordon-Levitt attended Columbia University in New York before dropping out in 2004 to focus on acting again. He made a promise to be in good movies, and has since appeared in movies such as (500) Days of Summer, Inception, The Dark Knight Rises. He's currently starring in the movie Looper and will appear in Steven Spielberg's Lincoln. He's also owned the website hitRECord, an online collaborative production company, since 2004.
