Why Did Miley Cyrus Beat Up 'Revenge' Star Joshua Bowman?

We know that Miley Cyrus has quite the bark in her (especially when you mess with her mom!) - but has she completely lost it this time? Revenge actor Joshua Bowman, who costars with Miley in their upcoming movie So Undercover, reveals that she packs quite the mean punch and that she beat him up!

WHAAAAAAT?!

Relax - Miley only beat Joshua up for scenes in their movie So Undercover! The movie is about a young lady named Molly (played by Miley) who gets a job with the FBI in order to penetrate a sorority and to protect the daughter of a mobster. 

Joshua dishes to MTV News:  "I play a guy called Nicholas. He meets Miley's character [at college]. We meet and we're in the same class, and we kind of strike up this interest for each other. And then she's onto me cause she thinks I'm the bad guy, which I think I could be… but I don’t think I am."

And while a romance between Molly and Nicholas sparks, the movie is really more about the action! 

"It becomes a small love story. Well, it's not a love story cause it's action, but it’s a comedy as well… There are twists and turns, and you'll see who the real bad guy is. It's poppy. It's fun."

Joshua also gets in on some of the action sequences! "I get beat up twice: once by her (Miley)..... Miley would kill me. She knows kung fu," Joshua added.

The movie also costars Jeremy Piven, Mike O'Malley and Kelly Osbourne.

So Undercover is set for release on March 10, 2012.
