James Franco to Play... Hugh Hefner?

We all know now that James Franco can do pretty much anything: act, write, direct, produce, work in fashion, even teach a class at a prestigious university like NYU! But can he transform himself into Playboy mogul Hugh Hefner? He may soon be slipping into that iconic silk red robe if all goes well, as James is in talks to play Hef, reports the New York Post. 

According to Variety, James is in talks to make a cameo in the upcoming film Lovelace, portraying Hugh Hefner in adult film actress Linda Lovelace's biopic, which stars Amanda Seyfried as the "Deep Throat" star. James would only be on the set for a day, starring in the scene where Linda visits the Playboy mansion with her husband Chuck Traynor to screen her infamous film. 

Already cast in the movie is Amanda Seyfried, Hank Azaria, Bobby Cannavale, Chris Noth, and Sharon Stone.
