Ryan Gosling: The Real-Life Superhero

With superheroes all the rage at the movie theaters this summer as well as on the small screen like on season 2 of MTV's Teen Wolf, premiering June 3, folks like The Avengers, Batman, and Spider-Man are all heroes that kids and adults alike look up to. But while those heroes only save lives on-screen, we often forget or are unaware of the real-life superheroes around us. In celebration of the second season of Teen Wolf, we wanted to take a minute and recognize celebs that seem to have superhero powers themselves.

One such celeb: none other than our favorite Hollywood hunk Ryan Gosling! While he may be one good-looking actor who blows us away on the big screen, our beloved Ry-Gos is also a total do-gooder. 

Exhibit #1: Stopping a street fight

Remember this? Thanks to camera-toting pedestrian, Ry-Gos' good deed was heard - and seen!- all over the world!

Exhibit #2: Rescuing a journalist from becoming a human pancake

Just when you forgot about the heroic deed Ry-Gos did, months later, through the power of Twitter, it was discovered that he saved one lucky British journalist from getting hit by a cab on the dangerous streets of New York. Hey girl!

Exhibit #3: Volunteering to help with the clean-up effort of Hurricane Katrina in Biloxi, MS 

Exhibit #4: Working with PETA on a campaign to encourage KFC  to use improved methods of chicken slaughter in their factories. 

Hey Hollywood, maybe you should consider having Ryan suit up for your next superhero flick... just a suggestion!
