Adele Is Pregnant! Will A Baby Change Her Music-Making Ways?

If you haven't heard by now: Adele is pregnant! We can't say that we saw this one coming: while the 24-year-old British songstress is known to be in a relationship with BF Simon Konecki, we didn't realize how serious the relationship was, as the couple hasn't really been spotted much out and about.

How did the news break? From Adele herself, naturally! The singer broke the news on her website with the headline "I've Got Some News." She writes:

“I’m delighted to announce that Simon and I are expecting our first child together, I wanted you to hear the news direct from me, obviously we’re over the moon and very excited but please respect our privacy at this precious time. Yours always, Adele xx”

The singer, whose last album 21 was last year's mega-hit and won her six Grammys, is best known for her heart-wrenching song lyrics about heartache and broken relationships. While we are superstoked for the happy couple (and the uber-happy mommy-to-be!), what can't help but wonder what having a baby will mean for Adele's career. Maybe her next album will be a smashing happy hit!
