Is Demi Lovato More Than 'Close Friends' With Niall Horan?

Both Demi Lovato and Niall Horan have addressed their affection for one another, so we can't help but wonder if the two will ever get together. After all, it was only last month that the 19-year-old former Disney gal and the 18-year-old One Direction hunk admitted in separate interviews that they have a mutual liking for each other. While the two aren't officially dating, Demi has opened that Niall definitely means a lot to her!

In an interview with MuchMusic, Demi was asked about a relationship with Niall, to which she responded: “We’ve actually become really close friends and you know I’m really thankful I have someone who supports me in all aspects. You know, if I need somebody to talk to he’s there for me. But no, we’re not dating." 

Bummer! Wouldn't the two make SUCH a cute couple? However, it's nothing personal - Demi doesn't want to date, period.

“I’m single. It wouldn’t be fair to anybody if I was dating them because I wouldn’t be able to give them my attention. And I’ve never really stayed single for longer than a couple months. So, I’m experimenting with this and I’m really trying to get to know myself and do what’s best for me as a person and as a woman,” she explains.

Smart move, Demi!
