'The Carrie Diaries' Recap: Fright Night

Last week we saw Carrie Bradshaw (AnnaSophia Robb) empowered and confident until the hunky Sebastian Kydd (Austin Butler) broke up with her after she 'fessed up to looking at his personal files. There is such a thing as being TOO confident, CB! 

*Warning: Spoiler alert! Do not read further if you don't want to know what happened in last night's episode.

This week, it's all about partying! It's only February, but everyone on The Carrie Diaries was getting their Halloween on when Sebastian threw a costume party, conveniently leaving Carrie off the invite list. So not to be outdone, Carrie goes to Larissa's (Freema Agyeman) city soiree instead with Walt (Brendan Dooling).

Speaking of Walt, Mags' dashing ex got his first taste of what New York City has to offer when Larissa's charming male friend Bennett Wilcox (Jake Robinson) kissed him at the party. Whoa! While it makes so much sense to us, a confused Walt gets scared, runs away into the night and ends up losing his virginity to Mags (Katie Findlay). 

In other "Seriously, that happened?!" news: Mouse and Mags attend Sebastian's bash, where he and Mouse end up bonding. Looks like Carrie isn't the only one bitten by the Sebastian bug and his "cute butt!!" Mark my words: something is going to happen between those two!  

So where's Carrie in all of this? From convincing a drugged out Larissa to get off the roof ledge to running after Walt, she was playing Mom while her pals partied their pants off. Sheesh!

How long will Walt put up with the charade? WHEN will Mouse and Sebastian finally get together? And when will Carrie finally have some fun fun fun? Stay tuned to Buzznet next week for the week's recap!
