'The Carrie Diaries' Recap: Dangerous Territory

Last week's episode of The Carrie Diaries had our heroine (AnnaSophia Robb) running around and taking care of some hard partiers, but this week was ALL about CB partying on by herself - with a little help from a new fella! 

*Warning: Spoiler alert! Do not read further if you don't want to know what happened in last night's episode.

The episode opened with Carrie meeting a new boy. While getting major sass from her boss, she encounters old family friend George Silver (Richard Kohnke), who invites Carrie to his mom's soiree. She declines after he brags about all the exotic places he's been... silly rich boy! 

Later on, Carrie goes through the ultimate right of passage: her driving exam. She's feeling super-confident - that is, until she sees Sebastian (Austin Butler) and Donna LaDonna (Chloe Bridges) having a making out sesh. Carrie almost runs them over and fails her test. She gets to redeem herself by playing it cool with Sebastian and reveals she's got a new dude. Looks like someone is ready to partyyyy! 

While shopping for a dress to wear to the big soiree, her catty boss lady ends up helping Carrie out. Turns out she knows a thing or two about these events and admits the reason why she's being so nice: she likes to see George with someone who knows the value of hard work. Guess she's not so horrible after all! 

The party starts off BAD: Blythe, George's ex, says some pretty nasty things and Kik, George's snooty mother, doesn't approve of him "slumming it." Ouch! Things look up when George stands up for Carrie. Something's definitely brewing between them and we're LOVING it! Kik reveals she knew Carrie's mom, leading to a sweet conversation between them. Warning: this convo calls for tissues!

After scheming to finally meet up with Seth, Mouse (Ellen Wong) gets jitters and asks Walt for sexytime advice. Walt teaches Mouse some moves by watching some "informative" videos, which seem to help... a little too much! After Seth reveals he slept with other girls, she lies and makes him think she slept with someone else too... Walt. Seth and Mouse meet up with Walt and Seth wants to slug him. Before he can, Mouse comes clean and they work things out. Whew! 

Mags (Katie Findlay) holds the fort down at the diner when Donna and her friends attempt to take it over to spite Carrie. Holding her own, she throws down with DLD, and wins! Well, kind of. Mags may have saved the diner, but its Donna who has Sebastian's heart... for now.
