Lady Gaga Unleashes Her Country Side

Lady Gaga is full of surprises - would you have guessed she would go country?! At the stroke of midnight early Friday morning, Lady Gaga took to Twitter and released a 'Country Road Version' of her smash hit "Born This Way." 

The 'country' version is essentially a stripped down, differently orchestrated version that really emphasizes Gaga's vocals, turning the club banger into a drawled out ballad. 

Just before the three-minute mark, in true Gaga fashion, she mixes in some new lyrics: "If I wanna make it country, baby, then it's OK, cuz I was born, I was born, I was born this way. From London, Paris, Japan back to USA/ I was born on the road, I was born to be brave," she adds, as the song breaks into full-on country-rock mode.
