Wes Bentley Lands Role As Gamemaker In 'Hunger Games'

The Hunger Games has found its gamemaker: Wes Bentley has landed the role!

The 32-year-old actor, best known for his role as the boy next door in 1999's American Beauty, will be playing the Head Gamemaker Seneca Crane. For those who don't know or who need a refresher, Seneca Crane is charged with the planning of the 74th Hunger Games, which has 24 young people - kids and teens - to fight against one another for survival.

Wes joins the Hunger Games cast, which so far includes Jennifer Katniss, Liam Hemsworth, Josh Hutcherson, Elizabeth Banks and more. The movie is slated to come out March 23, 2012.
