What Did You Think Of Last Night's 'Carrie Diaries' Premiere?

After saying good-bye to Gossip Girl, we were afraid we wouldn't have anything to replace the Upper East Side-centric show. Thankfully, The CW was prepared and last night (Jan. 14) premiered a brand new series,The Carrie Diaries. Starring a grown up AnnaSophia Robb as Carrie Bradshaw, the show is based on the prequel books by Sex and the City author, Candace Bushnell. Anna Sophia stars as our favorite New York City writer with a penchant for some very expensive footwear and brings a young Carrie to life.

Hardcore Sex and the City fans have been torn by the new series, with some saying that there is no need for another show. Still, others (like myself) think that we should give the new show a shot - after all, the books that the show is based on are actually pretty good!
